One of the great pictures taken by Jeff at my last firewalk. Can see his other professional photos and video work at @jeber389.
I've been selling firewalking the wrong way for a number of years now. I've been selling the event, the act, but that's completely wrong. If we're honest, firewalking is not the only thing we are afraid of:
The list is endless. It all boils down to the same primal emotion, FEAR. We are afraid to act, to fail, to risk, to be judged. We make excuses for not trying our best. We blame other people for what they did or didn’t do. We hold ourselves back. We play small, we hide, we say it's too hard or too much.
We hear that voice in our heads that tells us we can’t do it or that something is wrong with us. Not to try. It doesn't even have to be a voice. It could just be a feeling, a feeling that comes up just when we are about to do something. Fear sabotages us before we even try.
We are divided between what we want and what we are afraid will happen.
Firewalking is something that most people are afraid to do, but we can intentionally face it on our terms and in a controlled environment. We can walk right up to it and take a step forward. We often feel powerless over our fears, but we can choose to face this together.
Like most things in life. No one can do it for you!
What happens when you face your fear? It retreats. You leave it behind.
I was afraid of firewalking.
I did it!
I am afraid of getting a new job:
I did it.
It is the first step that is always the hardest.
That's what the firewalk and workshop are about.
You don't have to walk.
You don't have to share.
If this speaks to you, come join us.
You just might surprise yourself. --Joe.

We usually break up our events into two parts. Since we have limited workshop seating. The firewalk builds upon the workshop, but it is a separate experience.
Register early for workshop and workbook. Please call 732-561-8358 with any questions.
Limiting Beliefs Board Break
09/19/2026 Saturday (Manalapan, NJ)
What are limiting beleifs? A prison without doors or walls that exists only in your mind. How do they hold you back in life? Without most of us even noticing.
We will do some writing assignments, share, watch a video, draw/write our negative beliefs on wooden boards, and we'll take turns breaking them with our hands. It is a powerful feeling to do something you feel you can't. (Good starting point for people interested in fire walking).
Glasswalk
10/24/2026 Saturday (Manalapan, NJ)
A firewalk happens pretty fast usually within a few seconds. A Glasswalk, by comparison, is much slower. An eight foot long path of broken glass. We navigate it deliberatly and adjust our footing to keep moving forward toward our goal.
Burn the Boats Firewalk
11/07/2026 Saturday (Manalapan, NJ)
Join us for an evening of connection. We connect to each other, to ourselves, and to the fire. We write letters that we offer to the fire. Talk about time. We share why we are here. We write and talk about where we run to when we are afraid--our boats. Then we'll burn them at the fire and embrace a new path with a ten foot firewalk!
Check our events page for more information.
